Free Xbox One When You Buy Surface Pro 4

Microsoft currently offers a deal, where if you buy a Surface Pro 4 tablet, you can get a free Xbox One alongside it. The deal is only available the Microsoft Store from now until August 14.

As Polygon reports, to take advantage of this deal, you need to add both the Surface Pro 4 and $300 Xbox One to your cart. The Surface Pro 4's price ranges from $900 for an Intel Core m3 with 4 GB RAM to $1800 for twice the storage, an Intel Core i7, and 16 GB of RAM. Once you've added both items to your cart and hit the checkout, the Xbox One's price will disappear.

This promotion comes after Microsoft announced it would discontinue its last model, the Surface Pro 3. It could also have something to do with the new Xbox One S, which is set to arrive in August. The slimmer Xbox One is nearly half the size of the original console, while it supports HDR and 4K video. However, if you want to use your Kinect, you'll need to ask for a free adapter.

If you're thinking of buying a new Xbox One S, then it's worth knowing that the $300 version won't be available until after the more expensive versions that include more storage.
