Flight Simulator 2002 delay update

We speak with Microsoft about the civilian flight game's postponed release.

Comments

GameSpot talked to a Microsoft spokesperson today about the postponed release of the company's upcoming civilian flight simulation, Flight Simulator 2002. According to the company, the delay is not due to any further changes being made to the game, but is instead a result of the company's desire to be sensitive in the wake of the terrorist attacks last week. On Friday, Microsoft revealed that it would remove the twin towers of the World Trade Center from the game, but it did not expect that change to cause a delay in the game's planned October release. The company has not yet decided on a new release date for the game. For more information about Flight Simulator 2002, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
