First Shots: Supercar Street Challenge PS2

Activision has released the first screenshots from Supercar Street Challenge for the Sony PlayStation 2. Although there are simulation aspects such as car customization, the racing style will have a decidedly arcade-like feel to it. Players will be able to drive on sidewalks, break through barriers, and take shortcuts and alternate routes through buildings. The game also features car models from such real-life designers as Fioravanti, Callaway, and Modena.

The game is being developed for the PS2 by Exakt Entertainment, and it will be released this summer.
