First look: World of Outlaws: Sprint Cars 2002

Sprint Car racing is the second fastest growing motorsports segment behind NASCAR, which is reason enough for Infogrames to release its own next-generation game based on the sport.

World of Outlaws: Sprint Cars 2002, Infogrames' take on the sport of sprint car racing, features a variety of real-world tracks and a realistic physics engine. The game features four primary modes of play. They are training, practice, career, quick race, and multiplayer, which features support for up to four players. Throughout the course of the game, players can also upgrade and repair their existing vehicles and purchase new ones using both prize and sponsor money. Developed by Ratbag Games, World of Outlaws: Sprint Cars 2002 will be released in October 2001.
