First look: Terminator PS2

Infogrames' Terminator is an action game, which is chronologically a prequel to the first film. See the first in-development screens from the game.

Infogrames' Terminator game made its debut last week at the company's Editor's Day and now the company has released the first environmental screenshots from the PlayStation 2 version of the game. This third-person action game is set in the year 2029 and all of the action takes place in the post-apocalyptic Earth set forth by the original film. As members of John Connor's Tech Com rebel band of humans, players must battle Terminators and other enemies in order to infiltrate Skynet. In this mission-based game, the objective is to overthrow Skynet, accesses the time travel facility, and send a lone protector back into the past to stop the Terminator and save Sarah Connor's life. As players advance through the game, they will find themselves in a variety of urban battlefields, including hi-tech research laboratories, weapons facilities, and Skynet itself.

Terminator is being developed by Paradigm Entertainment and will be released on the PS2 in Q2 2002.
