First look: Tales of Destiny 2

Namco has released the first screenshots from Tales of Destiny 2 for the PlayStation 2. Not to be mistaken with the North American PlayStation game Tales of Destiny II (which was called Tales of Eternia in Japan), Tales of Destiny 2 features a story that takes place 18 years after the original and focuses on a character named Kyle Dunamis, who is the son of Stahn Aileron and Rutee Katrea from the first game. The game will also feature an improved version of the first game's linear-motion battle system that will include such features as spirit points and auto-zoom functions.

Tales of Destiny 2 for the PlayStation 2 is scheduled for a December release in Japan.
