First look: Shining Lore Online
Phantagram's upcoming online role-playing game will let PC and console users play together in a persistent fantasy world. Screenshots inside.
Phantagram Interactive's online role-playing game Shining Lore Online will let PC and console system owners play together in the same persistent fantasy world. The game lets players assume the role of a Japanese-animation-style character in a colorful universe. Unlike online role-playing games that focus on repetitive combat in order to increase a character's level, Shining Lore is designed to make leading a virtual life pleasant. The game features a streamlined interface that lets players easily explore the gameworld, chat with other players, engage in fast-paced combat, and play minigames.
We've posted some screenshots that show off some of the game's characters and environments in the gallery above. Shining Lore Online is scheduled for release on the PC in June. Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation 2 versions of the game are also planned, pending the network support of those console systems.
