Activision has released new information on and the first screenshots from Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder for the Sony PlayStation 2. The game's ten unique courses are based on the world's top snowboarding locales. Here players can work their way up the ranks of the pro circuit by landing massive tricks in the freestyle competition or racing for the finish line in boardercross. Shaun Palmer himself and nine other real-life professional snowboarders will be featured in the game. Additionally, a multitude of licensed gear and snowboards will add further sense of realism to the game.

As is typical of Activision's sports games, Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder will feature a licensed, alternative soundtrack. The game will be released this fall for the PlayStation 2.
