Kuju Entertainment's Lotus Challenge is now in development for the Xbox, and it's scheduled for release this September in Europe. According to the publisher Virgin, which is handling the product in Europe, the game won't be a direct port of the PlayStation 2 version of the game. Instead, the Xbox version will sport a number of improvements such as modified tracks, enhanced stunt challenges, and better handling. Virgin also specifically pointed out that there will be a major improvement in speed. The game lets players choose between a wide range of Lotus models from past and present. Players can dive into a full-fledged career mode with races, stunt challenges, and other tasks. Tracks in the game include London, Hethel, Tokyo Rainbow Bridge, Minatoku, the Toyko Bay Tunnel, the Arizona Speedway, and the Jupiter Beach Raceway in Florida. A multiplayer option is also available, allowing players to take part in a championship or a single race, and hidden tracks or cars can be unlocked in specific modes and challenges. In total, there are five modes of play, including collection, championship, single-player, multiplayer, and challenge.

A North American release date has yet to be announced.
