Game Factory Interactive has recently released the first information on Kombat, a real-time strategy game set during the Second World War. The game features three factions: Germany, the USSR, and Allied forces, which encompass armies from both the US and Europe.

Each of the factions in Kombat will have access to a large number of infantry, artillery, armored, engineering, naval, and flying units. More than 350 different land-based units will appear in the game in total, along with around 60 different flying units. Players will begin the game as the commander of a single platoon, and as they progress through the game they'll have the opportunity to be promoted until they achieve the rank of general and are able to control entire divisions.

We'll bring you more information on Kombat as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, you might be interested to check out the game's official Web site.
