THQ has today released the first gameplay information on GT Advance 3: Pro Concept Racing, which was announced last November. The game, which is currently in development at MTO, will allow players to race in no less than 97 different customizable cars from 10 top manufacturers on an impressive 46 different tracks.

GT Advance 3 will boast graphics that are superior to those of its predecessors, with the addition of different weather effects, car headlights, and a number of different environmental effects such as shimmering streetlights. Other improvements to the series will include a new "drift combo" minigame in which players can unlock additional cars and courses by performing consecutive powerslides and drifts, as well as a two-player link cable mode that wasn't present in the Japanese version of the game.

GT Advance 3: Pro Concept Racing is scheduled for release in the spring.
