First look: Gem Smashers

Metro3D releases the first information on its upcoming puzzle game for the GBA. First screens inside.

Metro3D has today released the first information on Gem Smashers for the Game Boy Advance. The game, which is currently in development at Frame Studios Interactive, will see players assuming the role of one of three different playable characters and smashing colored gems in which small creatures have been imprisoned by an evil scientist named Imbu.

Specific gameplay details are scarce at present, but today's press release states that the single-player game will consist of more than 100 story mode levels and around 60 arcade levels. Gem Smashers will also feature a further three gameplay modes to unlock, as well as a multiplayer battle mode.

Gem Smashers is currently scheduled for release early next month. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
