First look: Deep Sea Tycoon

Anarchy Enterprises, the studio that created Moon Tycoon, has released a new group of screenshots from Deep Sea Tycoon, its upcoming management strategy game that will let players run their own underwater empire. According to the developer, the game combines elements from several popular strategy game including The Sims, RollerCoaster Tycoon, and Railroad Tycoon.

Deep Sea Tycoon is set in a 3D underwater world populated by a wide variety of sea creatures. Players will build an underwater city, and they will have to oversee revenue and taxes, environmental issues, and city growth. The game includes several sources of revenue, including mining and production, tourism, trading, and environmental protection. It will feature more than 100 different structures ranging from dolphin petting zoos and shopping malls to casinos and nuclear testing facilities. Players will also be able to research a number of new technologies that will improve their cities' productivity and unlock new buildings. The game will feature a sandbox mode, a single-mission mode, and an extensive 30-mission campaign mode.

Anarchy has released a beta version of the game that is available for download from the official Deep Sea Tycoon Web site. No official publisher or release date for the game has been announced.
