Ubi Soft has officially announced Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu, an action game in development for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Game Boy Advance. Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu will be the first Batman game to feature an entirely new character--Sin Tzu--in the Batman universe. Comic book artist Jim Lee helped create and design Sin Tzu. Batman and the other playable characters in the game (Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl) will not only have to face this character on the streets of Gotham City, but they'll also have to deal with a number of other well-known villains, such as Bane, Scarecrow, and Clayface. All three characters will have a unique set of martial-arts attacks that they will have to use while fighting through the game's 12 levels.

A two-player cooperative mode is also planned for the game. Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu is scheduled for release this fall.
