Just Flight has today released the first information on its 727 Professional add-on pack for Flight Simulator 2002. The add-on, which was developed by Captain Sim, allows players to assume control of the 100 and 200 variants of the Boeing 727, and it features no less than 29 different liveries for the popular airliner.

The 727 Professional add-on pack was developed in accordance with the official 727 manuals, and it has been tested by current 727 pilots and engineers. The level of detail in the add-on is such that rotating engine fans, windshield wipers, rear under-tail steps, sliding pilot's windows, and more than 600 operating switches in the cockpit have been included, along with animated spoilers, rudders, stabilizers, ailerons, flaps, slats, landing gear, and doors. 727 Professional also features a fully functional fuel dump system, authentic engine and cockpit sounds, and a copilot to keep players company on long-haul flights.

727 Professional is available now, and developer Captain Sim has stated that it will release a patch to ensure compatibility with Microsoft's upcoming Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight in the future.
