First GBA Video titles shipping

Majesco announces that it has begun shipping its first GBA Video titles to stores across North America.

Majesco announced that is has begun shipping the first titles in its Game Boy Advance Video range to stores across North America. Game Boy Advance Video titles carry a suggested retail price of $19.99, and they are expected to go into full distribution later this month.

"From our content partners to the retail channel, our Game Boy Advance Video technology and the resulting product line has been universally well received," said Jesse Sutton, CEO at Majesco. "We are enormously pleased with our initial success and look forward to providing the 21 million Game Boy Advance users throughout North America with additional products and accessories."

The first five GBA Video titles to be released include two volumes of SpongeBob SquarePants, two volumes of The Fairly OddParents, and volume one of Dora the Explorer. Other titles scheduled for release include episodes of Strawberry Shortcake, All Grown Up!, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, Sonic X, Codename: Kids Next Door, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Yu-Gi-Oh!
