A gameplay video providing a first look of Sega's Valkyria: Azure Revolution has made its way online. The demo, which is included with the Japanese release of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, was streamed by Twitch user Hamachin and archived on YouTube by AllGamesBeta. Watch it below.

The 40-minute video offers an overview of battle, focusing on both close quarters hand-to-hand attacking and taking out enemies from a long range. There's also a boss battle with a mech towards the end.

As previously announced, Valkyria: Azure Revolution is in development at Media Vision, the team behind Valkyria Chronicles 3 for PSP. Based on the video, it seems the studio has decided to move the series away from its turn-based roots and create an action-RPG instead.

The game is set in a world where the Rus Empire has rapidly expanded thanks to an industrial revolution. This was instigated by the discovery of a mineral called Ragnite.

As of yet, Valkyria: Azure Revolution has not been announced for North America, Europe, or any other western territories.
