First Dreamcast, Now Dream Song?

Sega will release a 128-bit DVD... Karaoke machine.

Comments

Sega Enterprises Ltd. has been in the karaoke business in Japan for the past four years and has achieved moderate success in that market. With its new entry into the console market, it will release a new DVD karaoke machine to gain a larger audience. The Dream Song is powered by a 128-bit CPU and can play songs spun from DVDs or download them from the Internet.

If this sounds familiar (expect for the DVD part), it's because it is based on the Dreamcast hardware. Will this somehow come full circle and become a DC add-on or expanded feature? Karaoke fans should start writing letters now.
