First DJ Hero 2 DLC unveiled

DJ Hero 2 isn't even out until next Tuesday, but Activision is already announcing the first two downloadable content packs for it. The first, the Hit Makers Mix Pack, will arrive on November 2 on Xbox Live and November 4 on the PlayStation Network.

Costing 640 Microsoft points/$8, it will feature a trio of tracks from popular hip-hop and R&B artists. The tracks included in the pack are as follows:

--Usher ft. will.i.am - "OMG" (Remix by FSG)
--Rihanna ft. JAY-Z - "Umbrella" Mixed With Marvin Gaye - "Let's Get It On"
--Big Boi & Cutty - "Shutterbug" Mixed With Mark Morrison - "Return of the Mack"

The second DLC Pack, the Electronic Hits Mix Pack, is more club-music focused, sporting three dance-floor favorites of recent--and not-so-recent--vintage. This pack includes:

--LMFAO - "I'm in Miami Trick" Mixed With Green Velvet - "Shake & Pop"
--Steve Aoki ft. [[[Zuper Blahq]]] - "I'm in the House" (Remix by FSG)
--SMD - "Hustler" Mixed With Technotronic - "Pump Up the Jam"

Due out November 16 on XBL and November 18 on PSN, the Electronic Hits Mix Pack (see video below) will be priced the same as the Hit Makers Mix Pack. All the tracks in both packs are downloadable as singles on the Wii for 300 Wii points ($3) each.

Additionally, Activision is releasing Xbox Live avatar items based on the trademark outfits of several DJs. These include RZA's mask, a Tiesto T-shirt, and Deadmau5's LED-festooned mau5head, which is often lit up during his performances.
