Square of Japan has announced that it will be releasing two new sports titles for the Sony PlayStation2.
All Star Pro Wrestling is Square's first attempt at building a wrestling game featuring Japanese professional wrestlers. So far, Square says the game will feature graphics that realistically reproduce body-muscle movements and facial expressions.
Previously listed under the PS Festival 2000 roster, Gekikuukan Pro Baseball: The End of the Century 1999 is not one of those big-head baseball games you often see. It will sport a realistic look and feature real teams from the Japanese Baseball League. Voices for baseball players and sportscasters will be included as well.
Gekikuukan Pro Baseball is scheduled for a late March release in Japan. The format will be CD-ROM. No release date or CD format has yet been announced for All Star Pro Wrestling.
