Fire Emblem: Awakening

Fire Emblem: Awakening

Name: Ilyana

Class: Thunder Mage

Games where she appeared: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn

I was struck as odd when I saw her as an enemy unit because it was really bizarre to see someone that looked so frail and sad to fight against you. The moment I saw she could join your party I was kinda happy I didn't have to kill her, and from that moment on she simply became awesome. Lightning has always been my favorite element, and seeing she was the only mage in both games to focus on these type of magic, I had no doubts I wanted to train her. Despite what naysayers may say about her growths, she always ends up being beastly in my parties, ranking among the units with the most kills by the end-game. She also has some of the most hilarious support conversations due to her hunger issues that always draw her to eat nearly anything. She may be a bit goofy while in base, but when it comes to combat, Illy is one of my favorite units to take in my team. Did I mention she also looks absolutely adorable?

Fun Facts: Ilyana is a corruption of Iliyana, a name that has been changed and altered throughout cultures in this order: Iliana (Spanish), Ileana (Spanish and Romanian), and finally Ileana-. In Roman folklore, she was kidnapped by monsters and rescued by a heroic knight, which is very similar to her situation in Path of Radiance.

It's also worth remarking that if you attempt attacking Zihark with Ilyana during Part 3 Chapter 7 of Radiant Dawn, he'll never retaliate her, regardless of wether you started a support with him or not, possible hidden romance there?

Name: Marth

First appeared in: Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi

First North American appearance: Shadow Dragon

Starting class: Lord

Marth is brave and never surrenders no matter how bad things look. He is also a very strong person, who will not give up and keeps moving forward even after tragedy strikes. When his kingdom was taken from him and he was forced to leave his mother and sister behind, he bravely fought to regain what he had lost and never once dreamed of quitting. Lastly, he is a very noble and kind person who does his utmost to help others, such as rescuing other characters like Gordin from trouble and does his best to convince good men such as Camus and Michalis to join him rather than fighting them. Marth is a truly admirable and noble hero.

Fun Fact: The name “Marth” is a corruption of “Mars” the Roman God of war.

Sorry I couldn' get the picture to show! Click on the link in my previous post to find the picture. Sorry I'm very sorry.

Henry from Fire Emblem Awakening whose starting class is Dark Mage. He has very well rounded stats. His starting weapon Ruin is useful due its high critical rate. More importanly his skills Hex and Anathema lower the avoid rates of enemies on adjacent squares making the enemies easier to deal with. His HP groth rate is 95% which mean as he levels up his Hp will rocket and he will last longer in repeated attacks. The fact that he has no common scruples is kind of cute.

Fun Fact:Coincidentally, both the date Henry was born and Chapter where he is recruited falls on the 13th, a number commonly perceived to bring misfortune but ironically, November 13th is World Kindness Day.

derp, couldn't get the image code right, sorry about that :v
