Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Coming to PC, First Screenshots Released

Plus, Square Enix confirms that the PC edition of Lightning Returns is still on the way.

Japanese publisher Square Enix has made two PC-focused announcements about the Final Fantasy series.

First, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to PC. The publisher writes on Twitter that the game will be available through Steam (a release date was not announced), and will sport "new graphical options."

These include "improved battle and camera controls and more," the company said, adding that more details will be shared later.

DualShockers has obtained the first screenshots of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for PC.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD was released in March for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game, which came with access to the Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo, has shipped more than 1 million copies.

Square Enix's other announcement was about the PC edition of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy III.

In other Final Fantasy news, Square Enix will broadcast the next Active Time Report tomorrow, June 4. The company is expected to reveal new Final Fantasy XV details during the event. Looking further ahead, Square Enix's E3 briefing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16.
