Final Fantasy XV will be getting a patch to improve the game's resolution and frame rate on PS4 Pro, publisher Square Enix has revealed on the latest Active Time Report livestream. Targeting 1080p and 60fps--with an alternate mode for 4K and 30fps--the patch will arrive in December, according to Siliconera.

Square Enix also announced a playable demo is on the way for PS4 and Xbox One. The demo runs up to halfway through the first chapter, though it is exclusive to Japan. It's relatively simple to access the Japanese PlayStation Store by creating a new account, however.

Final Fantasy XV will have a mobile MMO version soon, too--Square Enix is working with Game of War: Fire Age developer Machine Zone to bring its spin-off JRPG to phones and tablets. Machine Zone's games are traditionally very successful, while Square Enix has also described its own mobile attempts, including Final Fantasy Mobius, as revenue drivers.

After being delayed from September, Final Fantasy XV launches worldwide November 29 on PS4 and Xbox One--with no less than 16 different pre-order bonuses.
