Final Fantasy 15 Has a Reversible Cover; See Both Designs Here

You've got two very different options.

Final Fantasy XV comes with two different box art designs that you'll be able to choose from, Square Enix has announced.

In both North America and Europe, XV's cover is reversible, letting you choose from two designs: One with the game's cast that we've seen previously, and one with the game's logo and a small piece of artwork on a black background--not white, as we've seen previously. The latter also spares you from having the "Day One Edition" text sprawled across the top along with an ESRB/PEGI rating, as is the case with the first design.

A reversible cover had been previously reported, but it wasn't until today that Square Enix officially confirmed this was the case. There's also a third design featuring some gorgeous artwork by Yoshitaka Amano, though you'll only get that if you buy the Deluxe Edition.

Japan has an entirely different box art design that combines the western black art with an image of the game's characters walking down a street alongside their car.

This difference aside, Final Fantasy XV launches worldwide on September 30 for PS4 and Xbox One.
