Gearbox Software writer Anthony Burch tweeted an image (at right), revealing the content is called Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. The tweet has been been deleted, but not before Stealthy Box was able to capture it.

A Gearbox Software representative was not immediately available to comment.

The $30 Borderlands 2 Season Pass includes four expansions, three of which (Captain Scarlett and Her Captain's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, and Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt) have already been released.

As was previously announced, the fourth and final Borderlands 2 expansion will launch by June 2013. For more on Borderlands 2, check out GameSpot's review.

I believe the correct name of the DLC is "Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty," not "Her Captain's Booty."  What was Eddie Makuch thinking of when he wrote this, hmm?

Its a difficult game with frustrating enemies and seems like they want you to dance with the FFYL feature which was a nice touch in the first game but made it too much a function in this one like its some kind of fashion. Most of the time you can't get a second wind because everyone dissapears the moment you go down.

The story was even more silly than CODMW2 which could be more accepted in a game like this but you have to wonder what Gearbox were up to at night to think of alot of that stuff that happens in the main story particularly especially with a game where people are going for many repeat games.

Some of the game is very fun but the other part is just very annoying like they thought of the enemies that can annoy you the most.  I much prefer the first game which drops better loot and does things better overall. Its mechanics of being are an MMORPG fail compared to BL1 .   BL2 has turned into another grind for many hours/day/weeks/months to get certain weapons where is in the BL1 they would drop at random for casuals and the elitists could grind for the very best ones so everyone was happy.

I had high hopes for this game but it unfortunately turned out to be a disappointment and I know many others feel the same.

I got bored with Borderlands 2 rather quickly and the DLC just didn't do much for me like the DLC for the first one did.

oh good. The game is almost finished. Now to wait for the bundle and a steam sale. If I wouldn't have heard so many stories about how the multiplayer bosses kind of sucked I would have picked it up a while ago. Multiplayer isn't my thing.

this is the final DLC and there is not a single word about  LVL 69 or higher, more ammo, back pack and bank upgrades which are really necessary+some new guns.and the Audio Log hasn't come back yet which is annoying..Disappointing to the fullest....

As cool as Tiny Tina is, can Anthony Burch not think of any other angle to take other than that of keeping his sister in work?  Love them both, but if Papa Burch doesn't make a cameo I'll feel just a little bit let down.

Alright!  Now bring on the Complete Edition (all on disc of course) and I will pick it up full price, day one.

I was hoping there would be more Tiny Tina. That character cracks me up.

I hope the final DLC sky rockets the level cap so that it's possible to max out a character's skills.  It would also be cool if it was really huge and more like an expansion pack and added new skill trees and stuff like that.

Borderlands 2 was the most disappointing game for me last year. For all of the things it did right (like the humor, story and graphics) I still recall getting extremely bored about halfway through the game because of the repetitive shoot/wait for enemies to come out from behind cover/shoot/wait for enemies to come out from behind cover/shoot gameplay, and there were two issues I had while playing that frustrated me more often than not:

1. It seemed like almost every time I went into 'Fight For Your Life' there was no one to shoot at, either because they were behind a structure or because the last enemy or two had already died from stack damage after being burned, shocked, or corroded to death.

2. I can't count the number of times I would be fighting any of the 'Psycho' enemies and while backing up and shooting my character would "run into" something and get stuck and I would eventually die... and yet when I returned to the spot to see what I had hit the only thing in my way was a small rock on the ground which the game designers decided should act more like a wall than simply a small rock that even a normal person could walk over.

The only DLC I really enjoyed from either of the two Borderlands games was 'The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned'.

@SavoyPrime Yeah, that shit got old so fast, I actually liked the Pirates dlc more than the actual game.

phoenix1289
phoenix1289

@Senor_Kami They aren't going to do that. The game is designed intentionally so that you can't max the skills. Thats the entire point. It forces the player to build their character allowing different people to have different set ups rather than every character eventually being exactly the same.

Hobillis

@OMGUPOS no... just no. Honestly, from all the characters in BL2 I'd say some random psycho is better than that over the top voice acted, wannabe kid-o character. I get so agitated whenever I hear voice of her in game. It's absolutely horrible.

halo-freak

@DrBallto and then ther was a second season pass that lets you go to lvl 69 and adds 4 new stories!

It will never end!

@DrBallto Yeah, I thought it was weird that they never did anything with the space station.

DarkReign2552
DarkReign2552

@diskotheque There were definitely a lot of things it could've done better. More vehicles, more locations, more open non-linear locations, more unique weapon effects, more enemy variety (I did love the Goliath though), more creative side-missions. There were a number of things it did right, but for every 1 thing good, it feels like they got 2 things wrong.

DrBallto
DrBallto

@jesuschristmonk @DrBallto I'd be super disappointed if that was BL3, considering anyone who's seen the ending knows that things are suddenly of a larger scale.

JayQproductions
JayQproductions

@SUNDRAGONJ @DrBallto the DLC is basically the original vault hunters and Tiny Tina playing a board game so I think it's pretty safe to say the Hyperion moon base is not called Dragon Keep.

@DarkReign2552 @diskotheque I feel like no one has given a valid reason in this comment spread for why borderlands 2 isn't good else than it didn't meet everyone's high expectations. The game was as good as borderlands one, and both were great. Things should get better with sequels, but if they stay the same at a high quality at least they didn't get much worse.

@bustalyme @diskotheque Borderlands 2 is a great game, BUT, it has been a great letdown under certain points of view:

- partially removed gore animations (no popping heads, not very realistic elemental death animations)

- narrower, more linear and repetitivive (some times) maps

- childish, stupid humor, more fit for 11 yo people than for mature ones

These problems have never been fixed.

Thumbler76
Thumbler76

I'll correct myself saying a more precise "not as cool as they were in BL 1". Even if, thinking about it, realismis not something to run away from. Even in Borderlands. Realism in some animations and effects looks cooler, but if you prefer crappy generic animations equal to each other  with just different color, well, de gustibus non disputandum est.
