Fighting Vipers 2 Revealed

First information and shots on Sega's arcade sequel to Fighting Vipers.

Comments

The brats are back. Sega is working on an arcade sequel to Fighting Vipers, and fans and skeptics alike will be glad to hear that some changes are being made, notably of the polygonal and ambulatory sort.

The characters redesigned for the sequel are more detailed, due to an increased number of polygons. But image aside, these characters will be more pliant. Players will now be able to guard from their opponent's crouch position while standing, hit their opponent while he's bouncing off the floor, toss a crouching rival, or move back and forth and crouch even before the round begins. Take a look at the following shots, which appeared in Japan's Weekly Famitsu magazine.
