Microsoft has announced the release of an update to Zone.com's popular online multiplayer air combat game Fighter Ace II. The update adds 13 new planes to the World War II-era game, including the De Havilland Mosquito, the Douglas A-20 Havoc, the Dornier Do217, and the Grumman F6F Hellcat. In addition, new maps of the English Channel and a fictional area are included in the update, along with several improvements and adjustments to accuracy, rocket trajectories, heavy machine guns, and more.

Fighter Ace II is available only on Zone.com. The online-only multiplayer game lets players fly historical World War II fighters in a battle for control of the skies over Europe. More than 300 players can engage in a single air battle, flying any one of more than 58 aircraft. For more information about Fighter Ace II, visit the official Web site.
