Fight Night Champion demo punches XBL, PSN Feb. 1
Trial for EA's upcoming M-rated fighter hits download spaces early next month; full game arrives March 1.
EA Sports' Fight Night Champion--the first M-rated series entry--takes the fight to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 1. But gamers hoping to get between the ropes before that date can download a demo for the game beginning early next month.
According to sports gaming blog Pasta Padre, EA Sports will unleash a demo for Fight Night Champion on February 1 on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The report did not offer specifics as to what the demo will consist of.
As far as gameplay goes, EA is promising a refined physics-based animation system and a new "full spectrum punch control" scheme in Champion. The game is in development at EA Canada by the team that put together last year's Fight Night Round 4.
