FIFA, Plants vs Zombies, More Get Exclusive Content to Help Fight AIDS

Apple and EA have partnered with Games for (RED) to raise money in the fight against AIDS.

From now until December 6, 100 percent of purchases made in EA titles FIFA Mobile, SimCity BuildIt, and Plants vs Zombies: Heroes will be donated to The Global Fund charity. Among other diseases, The Global Fund aims to eradicate AIDS, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, while the (RED) promotion is in recognition of World AIDS Day, December 1.

Apple have also partnered with (RED), for the 10th year in a row. It's launched four new (RED)-branded products, and will be donating $1 for every purchase made on Apple.com.

In addition to the three EA games above, 17 more games will offer exclusive (RED) in-game content. FIFA Mobile will offer exclusive card packs and (RED) kits, for example, while other hits like Angry Birds 2, Clash of Clans, and PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator will also be serving up special goods in recognition of the event.
