This freebie offer was not very highly touted; it's mentioned only briefly at the bottom of this blog post from Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb (via Game Informer).

According to Far Cry Primal's Xbox.com product page, once you preorder Far Cry Primal, you should be able to search for Valiant Hearts and download it free. However, you must do so before April 14.

Everyone who preorders a digital copy of Far Cry Primal for Xbox One also gets the "Legend of the Mammoth" pack. This includes three extra missions in which you'll play as a mammoth, apparently.

"Drink from the shaman's cup to experience life as a mammoth," reads a line from the description. "Use your immense strength to fight for your herd's survival."

The missions are called "Duel of Beasts," "Hunt the Hunters," and "The Trapped Elder" and are also offered as preorder bonuses for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Far Cry Primal is scheduled to launch on February 23 for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC edition will follow on March 1. For more, check out the stories below.
