Far Cry 5's DLC Sounds Crazy; Far Cry 3 Included In Season Pass

Ubisoft has revealed what DLC content will be included in Far Cry 5's season pass, which is available as part of the game's Gold Edition or as an add-on across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the publisher, the DLC is designed to "take players on three uncanny adventures with a unique Far Cry twist."

Hours of Darkness will see players travelling back through time to Vietnam, where they'll battle agains Viet Cong soldiers. Dead Living Zombies, meanwhile, will pit players against the zombie hordes in multiple scenarios that are inspired by B-movies. Finally, Lost on Mars will take players to Mars to go "toe-to-claws" with Martian arachnids.

Those who purchase the season pass will also get the single-player campaign from Far Cry 3. It will be available four weeks early to them, before becoming available to purchase as a standalone product in "Summer 2018."

Alongside the season pass details, a new story trailer for Far Cry 5 has been released, check it out above. Far Cry 5's release date has been confirmed as March 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. One of the big new additions is the ability to use dogs to distract enemies and pick up weapons for you. Other classic open-world gameplay opportunities such as flying planes are also available. On January 23, Ubisoft revealed PC specs for Far Cry 5, detailing the minimum and recommended requirements, as well as what hardware you'll need to run the game at 4K.
