Famitsu Rates New RPGs

The latest issue of the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu features reviews of two highly anticipated PlayStation RPGs, Dragon Valor and Legend of Dragoon.

Dragon Valor, a Zelda-esque offering from Namco, found itself with the following scores from the review crew: 7,6,6, and 6. In development for quite some time now, Dragon Valor apparently did not meet the expectations of the Famitsu staff.

Legend of Dragoon, on the other hand, fared a little better - it earned scores of 8,7,8, and 8. Although these are certainly good marks, many gamers will no doubt be disappointed, as there was much hope that LoD would serve as the killer RPG app for this winter in Japan.
