Fallout: New Vegas Event Photo Gallery

More than 300 eager Fallout fans don their Vault jumpsuits and travel to Sydney for GameSpot AU's version of Sin City fun.

Since the announcement of Fallout: New Vegas in April 2009, Fallout fans have been eagerly awaiting Obsidian Entertainment's latest adventure in the Mojave wasteland. A semi-sequel to 2008's critically acclaimed Fallout 3, New Vegas sticks to its predecessor's role-playing game format, casting players in the role of a courier with a mysterious parcel, who is left for dead by a bunch of bling-wielding thugs.

With the help of Bethesda and Fallout: New Vegas' Aussie distributor Namco Bandai, GameSpot AU hosted a Vegas-style bash complete with a roulette table, dancing girls, and costumes before announcing Australia's biggest Fallout fan.

Check out our photo gallery from the night below!

The punters arrive at Home nightclub in Sydney.

Does that say "New Vegas AUSTRALIA?"

Fallout fans unite!

The line to play the game just kept on getting longer, and longer…

Vault Boy welcomes you!

One of the busiest areas of the night: the bar.

The roulette table in full swing.

This event was so fly, we even had Elvis show up.

Another couple of contenders for the best-dressed prize.

This punter got our vote for making her own Pip-Boy.

She made this on the night!

Someone's about to get lucky!

The room falls silent as Bethesda airs the opening scene from the game.

Another captivated Fallout fan.

Dancing girls take to the stage to break up the boozing and the gambling.

Randy announces Australia's biggest Fallout fan! It's you, Jonathon Martinez!

Wasn't Fallout 3 banned in Australia? New Vegas looks to be just as violent in my opinion.

@New-Vegas-Fan That Exorcism thing is really funny and great. At first I even thought Obsidian did that on purpose because Doc was floating like a ghost ^_^
