FACEIT Expand To North America
As the tournament organizer announces a $1,000 North American championship to take place in July

After already hosting multiple championships in Europe, the most recent one of which concluded yesterday with Virtus.pro winning $10,000 ahead of Dignitas, who came second and earned $5,000.
With FACEIT moving into NA operations they'll be competing against the main provider of CS:GO action in America ESEA and equal recent arrival ESL.
The championship will feature 8 teams, half of which are directly invited and half will be determined via direct qualifiers. Starting this week there will be 1 qualifier per week until the entire line-up of teams is known on June 29th.
In addition to the championship FACEIT will also be running their regular community nights every Thursday, inviting members of the scene to play together with guests and pro's, and have a chance at winning special prizes in the process.
