Exileworks has today announced that it is working on a first-person shooter, entitled Poacher, for the PC. As the title suggests, the game will see players illegally hunting endangered species all over the globe while being pursued by game wardens and the like.

Players will assume the role of a poacher, named Roman Sar, who travels the world to hunt endangered animals, such as rhinos, tigers, and elephants. Sar doesn't just hunt the animals for sport though, so players will be able to trade and sell their goods to purchase better weapons, equipment, and vehicles. Locales in the game include South American forests, the African savannah, and snow-covered game preserves in Russia.

No publisher or release date for Poacher has been announced at this time. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
