Activision has sent along a group of new screenshots from Raven Software's upcoming first-person shooter, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix. These new shots are from the jungle and Hong Kong levels and give a good indication of the game's complex character models and high texture quality. Players once again play as John Mullins and take on mission objectives--some of which were based on Mullins' actual experiences--that range from saving hostages to search-and-destroy missions. Soldier of Fortune II uses the Quake III engine, but special enhancements designed by Raven Software allow for larger environments and more detailed character models.

Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix is scheduled for release in November. For more information on the game, take a look at our previous coverage .
