"Just about every gamer is a fan of the Mad Max anthology," Valve's Doug Lombardi said. "As Steam's library of games and movies continue to grow, the Mad Max game and film anthology represent major offerings for the platform."

Valve launched movies in March, and has added about 100 since then. Click through the links below to buy the Mad Max movies on Steam. Note that the movies are only available to purchase, not rent.

GameSpot's Mad Max review scored the game a 6/10. Below is a passage from critic Peter Brown's review.

"Mad Max's combat system is too dumbed down to enjoy, and repetitive activities such as searching for scrap and invading small enemy camps gets old fast. Mad Max offers some great experiences, but for a game that tries to impose the realities of survival on you, it does a poor job of following up on this pressure. Mad Max is too focused on providing you with an open-world that's filled with missions, and not focused enough on making those missions worth your time."
