Fishtank Interactive has announced that it is accepting applications for positions in its upcoming beta test for Etherlords, the fantasy turn-based strategy game in development at Nival Interactive. The international beta test is scheduled to begin in early July, and the application form can be found at the official Etherlords Web site.

The company has also released more screenshots from the upcoming game. The new screenshots provide views of different hero screens, which are part of the game's interface. Etherlords will use a unique combat system that will include elements drawn from collectible-card games. The game will feature four playable races with unique heroes, more than 300 magic spells, and more than 160 detailed monsters that can be summoned. In addition, the game will include a complex diplomacy system, two single-player campaigns, and multiplayer support for up to eight players.

Etherlords is scheduled for release near the end of the year. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
