North American esports organization Major League Gaming has announced Call of Duty shoutcaster Ben "Benson" Bowe has been granted an O-1 Visa by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Bowe will be joining MLG as a full-time host and producer for MLG.tv, a video streaming platform available online and on mobile. Last year, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services approved, for the first time, a P-1 Athlete Visa for professional gamers to work as esports competitors in the United States.

MLG.tv was launched in November last year. MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni issued a challenge to Twitch.tv earlier this year, saying that content creators could make more money on MLG's video streaming platform than with Twitch.
