ESL UK announces MCM League of Legends Invitational

ESL UK have joined forces with MCM to bring another high level League of Legends tournament to the United Kingdom. Featuring the six best teams hailing from the UK, the MCM League of Legends invitational will take place at the London Comic Con in October, late this year. As of now, the participants have no been revealed, however, it is known that there will be two direct invites. The rest will battle for the LAN spots via an online qualifier.

Peter Mather, Community Manager for ESL UK, shared the following upon the announcement:

“We’re really excited to bring eSports back to London MCM Comic Con in October, we had an amazing time at the previous event despite the short time scales, and we’re really excited to be coming back bigger and better this time around!” The MCM October League of Legends invitational is set to feature the best teams the UK League of Legends scene has to offer on one of the biggest national platforms to date, I hope you come and join us to witness how they fair on the big stage”.
