Enix Busts Even More Grooves

TOKYO - A sequel to Bust A Move, Enix's dance and rhythm action game, comes to the PlayStation... in Japan.

TOKYO - Enix will release Bust A Move 2: Dance Tengoku Mix in Japan this spring. Gameplay will change slightly from its predecessor. While gamers have to pull off dance commands just like in the first game, they'll have to push the buttons on a steady and fixed beat. If they push the buttons off beat, the dance their character does will be a little different.

It's safe to say that the developers have added a more Beatmania feel to BAM2. The game will feature many new faces, but characters like Shorty, Heat, and Hiro will remain, and each character will have its own special levels. The levels in BAM2 will be far more dynamic than the first game. For instance, Shorty's stage called "Jungle Tour" occurs at a theme park. Shorty dances on a raft going down a river.

Bust A Move 2 for the PlayStation is roughly set for a spring release.
