Tom Clancy's EndWar is expected to arrive on retail shelves for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 4. Also out that week? Activision's James Bond Quantum of Solace, Sony's Resistance 2, and Microsoft's Gears of War 2, to name a few. For EndWar to make a mark in that opening week, Ubisoft is going to have to come loaded for bear.
As part of that lead up to November, Ubisoft said today that a demo for EndWar is now available on Xbox Live. A release exclusive for Xbox 360 gamers, the demo includes both single- and multiplayer modes. For solo generals, Ubisoft has included the Prelude to War campaign, which acts as a tutorial for the real-time strategy title.
Once aspiring generals have acquainted themselves with the game's unique voice-activated control scheme, they can go online for one-on-one matches in Conquest mode. The multiplayer demo features a single scenario set in La Mancha, Spain. No word on whether any windmills were harmed in the making of this online trial.
