Endure Deer Avenger, Again

Just what the doctor ordered - another deer-hunting game!

Comments

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into a software store and pick up your favorite Deer Hunter clone, Simon & Schuster Interactive announced Thursday that Deer Avenger 2: Deer in the City has gone gold and should be on store shelves within two weeks.

The sequel to the much-maligned parody of the Deer Hunter phenomena, Deer Avenger 2 has material written by Conan O'Brien staff member Brian McCann. The game puts its deer hero, Bambo, in a variety of urban settings as he guns down various forms of white trash (with a tranquilizer gun) while searching for the hunters who maligned his poor Bambi.

GameSpot News would attempt to describe the game more, but it's just too painful. Suffice it to say, Deer Avenger 2: Deer in the City will sell for about US$20.
