"We have been working with Monte Cristo over the past year to ensure that Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps appeals to US and Canadian consumers," said Michael Bell, Encore's CEO. "This is the first game in what we hope will be a long-term relationship with Monte Cristo."

"With its gripping gameplay, cutting-edge 3D technology, historical realism, and attention to detail, Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps offers everything strategy gamers are looking for," added Jean-Christophe Marquis, chairman at Monte Cristo. "As Monte Cristo increasingly focuses on bringing the highest-quality games to the North American market, we are confident that Encore provides the expertise and infrastructure we need to make this game a success."
