Summitsoft, a publisher based in Omaha, Nebraska, has announced that the development of Empire of Magic is complete. The game is designed to blend strategy, role-playing, and adventure elements in a high-fantasy setting. Players assume the role of the young mage Artemian as he embarks on a quest to discover the force behind the recent rise of the undead.

"Summitsoft is proud to add Empire of Magic to the growing list of solid computer strategy games," said Bruce Lowry, president and CEO of Summitsoft. "Also, with Empire of Magic's intense role-playing elements, it is just as much a stand-alone RPG as an elaborate strategy game. The game is so massive that we needed two CDs to contain it!"

Empire of Magic has been rated T by the ESRB and will carry a suggested price of $39.99 when it ships later this month. For more details, check out our previous coverage of the game.
