Activision today released a playable demo of Elite Force II, the first-person action game in development at Ritual Entertainment that puts players in the role of a hazard team special operative stationed on the USS Enterprise. The sequel to Raven's Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force features a bunch of new aliens to fight, powerful sci-fi weapons, and a variety of new gameplay elements, including tricorder puzzles, minigames, and secret areas.

The 119MB demo includes two single-player levels taken from a prerelease version of the game. The file is available for download from the link below.

Star Trek Elite Force II is scheduled for release this summer. For more details, check out our previous coverage of the game.
