The game formerly known as Elebits will now be known as Eledees in Europe. A spokesperson for its publisher, Konami, said, "We needed a game name that could be used all over Europe." The game, which was released in the US in December 2006, is slated for a second-quarter release in the UK. The game will be Konami's debut title for the Wii platform.

In Elebits/Eledees, players take on the role of a young boy called Kai, who must search for and capture mysterious creatures. There are 25 stages in the single-player mode and more than 15 different types of creatures, each of which will require a different strategy to catch. There will also be a multiplayer mode, which supports up to four players, and an edit mode, where users can create their own stages, goals, and gameplay parameters, which can then be traded using Nintendo's WiiConnect24 service.
