El Dorado Gate cut short
Capcom will cut 17 out of 24 chapters from its bimonthly Dreamcast RPG.
Capcom announced today on its official Web site that it will conclude the bimonthly RPG El Dorado Gate for the Dreamcast with the seventh chapter. The game was originally intended for release in 24 chapters, but due to Sega's retreat in the video game hardware business, the company decided to cut 17 chapters out of its production and end the story in the seventh chapter.
Capcom is currently making changes to the remaining chapters, and the fourth chapter is now scheduled for an April 12 release in Japan. The remaining chapters will retain their original release dates.
