Eidos Interactive has announced its upcoming party simulation game, Spring Break. The game will let players build and manage their own beach resort, complete with live music, hotels, restaurants, bars, and a variety of spring break activities.

Spring Break is in development at Deep Red, the UK-based studio that created Infogrames' economic real-time strategy game Monopoly Tycoon. The game features a series of scenarios set on different islands, with different clientele, hazards, and attractions. Each island has a different focus, ranging from promoting water activities to building the ultimate nightclub.

"Spring Break's objective is to be fun, lighthearted, and exotic," said Clive Robert, managing director of Deep Red. "It appeals to both males and females and plays on everyone's desire to head out on a wild, spring break getaway."

We've posted some new screenshots from the game in the gallery above. Spring Break is scheduled for release in spring 2002.
