Eidos begins talking about its 1999 lineup of games.

Comments

Eidos Interactive has begun talking about its lineup of games for this year, including a few titles we've never heard of before. The following games will be shown at an upcoming press event:

Anachronox (PC/PS) - Anachronox is a sprawling science-fiction RPG that was first officially announced for the PC at the 1998 E3. What is known is that the game promises to be enormous, with numerous monsters, scads of nonplayer characters, and a couple hundred locations to visit. The game uses the Quake II engine but will be played from a third-person perspective. And this is the first time we've heard the game will be coming to the PlayStation.

Abominations (PS) - No information was available on this game.

Fear Factor (PS) - This title was described as a Metal Gear Solid-style action-adventure game.

Omikron (PC/PS) - Omikron is an ambitious-sounding 3D adventure game where you interact and/or fight with the inhabitants of a futuristic city.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (PC/PS) - If you haven't heard of this third-person vampire game yet, you've been under a rock for some time and should just read the preview.

Saboteur (PC/PS) - Not much is known about this 3D action-adventure game, save that its main character is a ninja and that it resembles a 3D version of Sega's Shinobi.
